Frontend Developer &
Product Designer
I'm Alex, a frontend developer and product designer specializing in creating unique, functional, and aesthetically pleasing digital solutions.
About
8+ years building web products, from enterprise platforms to open-source developer tooling. I care about how things look as much as how they run, which is why I design the products I build.
Experience
- Qameta Software2024 - present
- Senior Software Engineer at the company behind Allure, a family of test reporting tools.
Open source: I am the top contributor to Allure Report 3 and own its main report interface, including filters, search and the test tree. I also fix and harden the allure-js adapters for Playwright, Cypress, Mocha and other test runners, and I built allure-kit on my own, a command-line tool that sets Allure up in a project across ten JavaScript and four Python test frameworks.
Product: I build the frontend of Allure TestOps, the test management platform. Right now I am working on the projects list, launches and coverage rules. - Voximplant2021 - 2024
- Frontend engineer at a cloud platform for calls, chatbots and contact centers. I worked on several large products over about three years.
The main B2B control panel: I built parts of the in-browser call script editor and the in-browser phone, and helped move the code to a newer Vue style.
The public website, over 500 pages and components for three world regions and four languages, where I worked on pricing and sign-up forms.
The documentation platform covering 11 SDKs.
In the last year I worked on a no-code builder for dialogue flows drawn on a WebGL canvas, and on the bot and language understanding tools.
Personal projects & collaborate
- MotacéPersonal project
Frontend and design - A service that stops fake leads before they reach a company's CRM. A site's form sends each lead to Motacé, which scores it for fraud, holds suspicious ones for a manager to approve on a kanban board or in Telegram, and passes good ones on to the CRM.
I designed the product and built the web app: the kanban board, lead details, admin and sign-in screens, with a light and dark theme. It has no router or state library on purpose, to stay small.

Frontend and design - An attribution analytics service for marketers. It merges exports from AmoCRM, Facebook and Google Analytics into one dataset and builds XLSX reports that show where customers came from.
I designed the product and built the web interface: uploading data, choosing sources, and previewing and downloading reports. It is an early-stage project.

Frontend and design - A blockchain explorer for Cosmos networks, built with Crouton Digital. One app serves any chain the backend knows, with blocks, transactions, validators, governance and staking, plus live validator uptime.
I wrote most of the frontend: the validator, account, block, transaction and proposal pages, search, the live signing view, and the staking calculator and charts. About fifteen data hooks share one generic factory.

- I start from the data: I study the metrics and form hypotheses about what to change, then design the interfaces based on them. I have worked this way on many product projects. Some of them are under NDA, so only part of the work can be shown here.
